In late June 2005 the association opened a shop in Tórshavn. The name TINAMIK associates with the house, and the committee thougth it was suitable for the shop.
The daugther of the first owner of the house was named Tine Jacobsen. She took over the foodstore in the house from her father Rudolf Michael Jacobsen. She started to sell yarn and other material to handcraft, and as the time went by, the store got the name TINA MIK, after Tine hjá Michael.
In the shop you find a variaty of handcrafted articles, such as knitted shoes, socks, gloves, sweaters and scarves and clothes to the Faroese National Costume, which the member of the association have processed
Beside clothes the shop also sells giftitems and items for decoration made of wood, horn, bone and glass.
The items for sale are prosseced in an old faroese tradition way, but also by present inspiration and technology.
